Gray DG in Clairemont

A gray decomposed granite installation for a hillside property in Clairemont, with sweeping views over the city. We graded and compacted the side yard, laid a clean gray DG surface, and set a flagstone stepping-stone path through it to give the space a defined, low-maintenance walkway instead of bare ground.

DG like this is a good fit for side yards and transition spaces — it drains well, needs virtually no upkeep, and holds its color and compaction far better than loose gravel.
