Native Desert Scape
A full front-yard conversion from turf to a drought-tolerant desert scape. We pulled the old lawn, graded the yard, and built a dry creek bed of river rock winding through decomposed granite groundcover, anchored by large natural boulders. Agave, lavender, and a mix of low-water native and Mediterranean plants were worked in around the stonework for year-round texture and color.
The dry creek bed isn't just decorative — it also helps direct rainwater runoff across the yard instead of letting it pool or erode the DG.
See our desert scapes and native plants services for more on this style of water-wise design.
